1. What certification would I receive after completing this course?

This course prepares you for the CompTIA Security+ (SYO-601) certification exam. On clearing this exam, you get the CompTIA Security+ certification which is globally recognized. 

2. What is the exam duration?

The CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601) is a 90-minute exam with a maximum of 90 questions.  

3. What is the passing score for the exams?

The passing score is 750 (on a scale of 100-900). 

4. Do I need Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for certification renewal?

You need 50 CEUs to renew the Security+ certification.  

5. How do I renew the Security+ Certification?

The CompTIA Security + certification is valid for three years from the day you take the exam. You need to extend your certification in three-year intervals and the CompTIA Continuing Education program allows you to do this through activities and training that relate to the content of your certification. These include higher certifications to renew your CompTIA Security + certification. You can collect at least 50 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in three years, and upload them to your certification account, to automatically renew Security +.
