 Course Description

Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ (RBLP™) is for Front-Line Supervisors.

Organizations need front-line supervisors that can build resilient teams. Building resilient teams that can work together to overcome adversity in a challenging environment is a core competency for leaders at all levels. Resilient teams are stronger together and they make organizational learning and change possible.


Front-line supervisors provide guidance and direction to workers. They set priorities for workers and oversee their activities. Front-line supervisors organize people to work in teams and may work alongside subordinates as a member of the team. They monitor performance and enforce policies, rules, and regulations. Front-line supervisors have applicable technical expertise and can provide on-the-job training to workers.

Course Structure

Instruction: Our instructors use experiential learning techniques to guide students through our exam preparation courses. The purpose of the training is to ensures that students are well-prepared for the oral certification exam. 

Your instructor will contact you within three (3) business days to schedule weekly one-on-one video conference sessions that fit your schedule.

You may request a specific instructor from our faculty during course registration. If you do not specify an instructor, we will assign one to you.

Length: Three (3) one-on-one video conference sessions with one of our highly qualified RBLP-T approved trainers.  Supplemental material developed by our doctoral staff can be accessed via our course rooms and mobile app containing approximately nine (9) hours of student preparation exercises.


Civilian: Applicants for RBLP certification must be currently serving in a front-line supervisor role or have three years of work experience.

Military Equivalent Paygrades: E4 & E5

System Requirements

Please note that this course requires the completion of an oral exam, so you must have a webcam in working condition, or you will not be able to take the test.  The webcam will remain on during the test, and the video of your exam will be captured throughout the test. Additionally, a working headphone, or system microphone to connect to audio is required. The test works with the latest versions of internet explorer, google chrome, firefox and other popular browsers.

Application Instructions:

  1. Apply for a program here. OR go to the menu at the top of the page > Certifications > Resilience-Building Leaders Program > RBLP Application. In the last box “additional information,” be sure to write “ATP Project Altitude.”
  2. You will receive an approved training letter from RBLP HQ, forward the approval letter to
  3. Enroll in your APPROVED course. Additionally, Project Altitude will forward you a link to enroll if we are notified by the credentialing body beforehand.


RBLP Certification Exam Requirements: Each applicant will sit for an oral exam in which they will be required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) in their respective domains.

Certification Exam Instructions:

  1. Read the Exam Policies
  2. If you did not purchase the exam already, purchase an exam for your applicable level here. Once you purchase an exam, whether right before the exam or as part of your training package, you will receive an exam voucher from your instructor - Use this voucher in step 3.  
  3. Using your exam voucher, schedule your certification exam here.
  4. You will receive a calendar invite to your certification exam via email within three (3) business days of scheduling.
  5. Attend your certification exam on Microsoft Teams Video Conference.
Recertification Instructions
  • Step 1. Once it is time to recertify, go to the recertification page.
  • Step 2. Select and purchase the recertification course and exam you need to recertify.
  • Step 3. Once in your course room, you may complete the course.
  • Step 4. Once the course is completed, select "my exam" from the left hand panel.
  • Step 5. Select the exam that you wish to take by selecting "Schedule" or "Take Exam." Verify your information is correct and select continue.
  • Step 6. Select the date and time you wish to sit for your proctored exam and select "continue"
  • Step 7. Verify the date and time and select "confirm."
